Hey legends, Curtis here! I’ve got some really exciting updates for all our Deep Sensations Freediving community members. There’s been a lot happening behind the scenes, and I can’t wait to share what’s new.


Website Update - Live Events Calendar Added

Our website has had a big refresh! You’ll now find a brand-new Events section, where you can stay up to date with all of our upcoming community events, social dives, workshops, and day trips It’s the easiest way to see what’s happening and plan your next adventure with us.



New Social Dives

We’ve added more Social Dive dates and new locations for the rest of 2025 and into 2026. Whether you’re keen to explore new sites or reconnect with the community, these days are all about fun, connection, and spending time in the ocean together.


Line Training – Sydney & Wollongong

We’ve ramped up our coached line training sessions, now running regularly in both Sydney and Wollongong. These sessions are perfect for certified divers wanting to fine-tune their technique, improve equalisation, and build confidence at depth - all with expert coaching in a relaxed, supportive environment.




Regular Apnea Pool Training

Our weekly pool training sessions are locked in every Wednesday at UOW. It’s the perfect way to build CO₂ tolerance, improve your breath-hold, and connect with other divers mid-week.



2026 Whale Swim Social Dives – Jervis Bay

This one’s huge - our Whale Swim Social Dives for 2026 are now live! Join us in Jervis Bay on July 19 or October 11 for the chance to swim alongside migrating humpbacks and playful seals. These are social dives open to all confident swimmers - and they always sell out fast.



Private Courses & Photo Shoots

With my new weekday availability, I’m now taking bookings for private freediving courses and underwater photo shoots. Whether you’re after 1-on-1 coaching, a portfolio update, or just want to capture some epic memories underwater — reach out to arrange your session.



Lady Elliot Island 2026

Last but definitely not least, Lady Elliot Island 2026 is officially live! This trip is one of our most popular retreats and for good reason - think manta rays, turtles, reef sharks, and world-class photography opportunities right off the beach.

Ningaloo Reef 2026 - Trip 1 SOLD OUT

Our Ningaloo Reef Expedition has quickly become one of our most loved community trips - Trip 1 has already sold out!


Every year, this experience brings together freedivers, snorkellers, and ocean photographers from across Australia to share some of the most memorable encounters you can imagine. The best part? Most of the magic happens in less than 5 metres of water, so you don’t need to be a 'diver' to join in.


It’s all about community, connection, and time spent in the ocean with like-minded people. Whether you’re chasing your first whale shark encounter or just want to enjoy Ningaloo’s reef life up close, this trip is relaxed, fun, and inclusive.
